Quote:
(CBS News) MANCHESTER, N.H. - Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan's strong views on abortion took a back seat to his new boss's view in a Romney-Ryan campaign response to a Missouri Senate candidate's controversial remarks about rape and abortion.
The statement on behalf of Ryan and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney said the pair would "not oppose abortion in instances of rape."

Re: Romney Flips on Abortion Again
DM, Anything Romney does or says now is called, "evolving".
There are a lot of issues where they are very similar. - TARP
- NDAA
- Romney supported Obama's stimulus package
- Romney says auto bailout was, essentially, his idea
- R changed his stance the last couple of days on auditing the Fed, but during the debates he wasn't for it
- R agreed with O that Bernanke was doing a good job
- Both agreed Geithner was doing a good job
- Both promote universal healthcare - R would like to see that in every state according to Pam Bondi - no different at state level.
- Both are open to the idea of a VAT
- Both support Patriot Act and it's renewal
- Both support Cap and Trade
- Both agree that Boy Scouts need to employ gays
- Both have nominated extremely liberal judges
- Both think the President has the power to enact war w/o approval from Congress

Re: Romney Flips on Abortion Again
More confirmation that if Romney is elected, we will get more of Obama policies.
Is this what Christians want to endorse?

Re: Romney Flips on Abortion Again
Ha, good luck with that.
I won't be acknowledging either one of them!

Not surprising.

But who else is there to endorse? I will NOT endorse Obama. I'll take my chances with Romney. I ask this in all seriousness - I don't want to vote for someone's dog or Mickey Mouse or anything like that. The sad fact is that in this country at this time, we are reduced to voting for the lesser of two evils instead of "the best president ever". I don't know that we've had a GOOD president for a long, long time frankly. :

We are waiting on a ruling for the delegates to be unbound at Tampa. This is what the judge wanted today by 9:00 a.m. Lots could change and we could have a Brokered Convention. This is an historic case and I hope it gets the justice it deserves. Frankly, I really don't have hopes for it, but the judge keeps giving the attorney plenty of room to correct and and present his case. The delegates could simply NOT vote for Romney on first ballot. That is one reason Romney, prematurely, brought out his VP pick. I have other things I could post, but I will refrain and see how it plays out.

The RNC was totally dishonest in their primary dealings and for that reason, I stand with this lawsuit on principle. I am understanding that they are now replacing the Santorum delegates with Romney alternatives to make sure he wins. He and the RNC are despicable.
And, BTW, the Paul Revolution Convention in Tampa, a week before the RNC Convention, has been sold out. The Sun Dome holds upwards of 10,000 people. Ron and Rand Paul will be present.
