Romney Raises $4.2 Million in Less Than 24 Hours

As a result of the upholding of Obamacare yesterday, Mitt Romney has received $4.2 million dollars from 42,000 donations in less than 24 hours. Evidence that the slumbering giant is being roused, just as it was back in 2010. If you thought the 2010 midterms were historic in their scope, buckle up, cause November is going to be a wild ride.

Yup it is funny that to be so self righteous about Campaign funds it is Obama, the ultimate Democrat, who rejected the Federal funding for the general campaign in '08 and went for the unlimited fund raising route once he saw he could raise many times more cash than he would have gotten.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

None of that money came from me. Just sayin'...

Romney can win only because Obama defeats himself. RNC strategy.

Elections are primarily about the incumbent when there is a sitting prez. You fail to recognize that no matter what "the establishment" did in the primaries, ultimately GOP voters had to pull the levers and the result was Romney. Santorum and Gingrich split the conservative vote yes, and if either one of them really cared about keeping the GOP staunchly right, one of them should have deferred and allowed the other one to carry the conservative banner. But both of them stubbornly fought against each other and demanded the other drop out. Those two did as much to hurt the conservative influence in the GOP as "the establishment" did. Selfish ambition.

It was a long drawn out primary and I believe that every candidate had the right to go as far as they could. Nothing selfish about that. And you know why they kept going? Because they knew the voter turnout was low and that people didn't really like Romney, even though the GOP was pushing him. Santorum nailed it when he said the media drives the narrative more than we think. I hate that, but that's the way it seems to be.
