Newt currently polling only 7-pts behind Obama

In the lastest Rasmussen tracking poll, which has had no media coverage, Newt Gingrich is trailing Barack Obama by only 7 points nationally.

Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by only 5 points in Florida.

These poll results are being withheld by the RNC and the MSM, who want no positive news about Newt in circulation, especially the fact he is only behind Obama by 7 points nationally.

The RNC Establishment strategy - publish no polls and spread the word that Romney is the nominee.

No wonder GOP delegates in Iowa didn't want to sign Romney's pledge.

I've never cared much for Elvis - not newsworthy.

The point is that even with the RNC and the media not reporting, he is still polling close to Obamanation. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I'm going to vote for Newt in the TX primaries regardless of the delegate count. I'd like to see TX move primaries up to early March where we actually had some influence in the process. We act as if we didn't have 155 delegates. If Texas voted earlier Perry would possibly still be in at this point.

the rnc actually controls primaries by penalizing states that move their dates forward. sc is the main southern state with influence after iowa and new hampshire. i don't think the establishment wants the south to decide the candidate.

What's more telling PO is that Gingrich is polling on average 12+ points behind O. It's not a conspiracy that keeps Gingrich out. Newt's arrogance, his infidelities and his burning bridges with past friends and colleagues has done him in.

Not true, Deacon. Congressman Dan Burton sets the record straight, especially addressing the lie about Newt resigning as Speaker in disgrace - not true! My mother even told me that wasn't true. She is 78 and remembers very well Newt's tenure as Speaker.
