The numbers are NOT with Mitt
Brokered Convention!
Quote:
The numbers are NOT with Mitt
Mitt Romney must win over 60% of all remaining hard delegates to secure the GOP nomination. Surprised?
Can he do it?
Even if half of Santorum’s supporters vote for Mitt, this still does not give him the necessary 60+ % to secure the GOP nomination.

Exactly what Newt said during his NRA speech today - The race is still wide open regardless what the media is saying.

Re: The numbers are NOT with Mitt
Romney's hard delegate count is 536. The media is giving us the soft delegate count and trying to make it look like more, putting Romney at 663. He isn't at 600.

The first vote at the convention by the delegates will be for the candidate they are obligated to vote for. If a candidate can't be determined by that vote, they take a second vote where all the delegates can vote for whomever they want. They can actually vote their conscience. This is where Romnney could lose big time.

Give it up sis! Romney is going to be the nominee. It is time to stop the whining and get behind him.
I was pleased to see that in the latest polls he is already beating the Socialist In Chief by a couple of points and I think that will only grow now that the Repubs aren't bashing each other 24 hours a day and can focus on Obama.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Yep, Newt may dream on, along with PO, but this primary is over. Mitt is going to poll higher and higher against Barry. IMO
Newt, at his best is great, unfortunately, he is not at his best most of time these days. For one thing he is broke, and in debt, that makes being at your best very diffcult.

Yes, we want Mitt to buy the nomination - not! Like I said, when he gets his full delegate count, I will post neither for or against him. I won't support him. I will only vote for him. He can give every American a job and I will still be against him for his lying character assassination of Newt in Florida.

Re: The numbers are NOT with Mitt
And, BTW, crakjak and CC1 - Riddle me this - Why is Santorum and Perry talking about running in 2016? Normally we don't run against our own party. Are they expecting a loss in November?

Re: The numbers are NOT with Mitt
Because that's the next election cycle. Because there's a chance Romney won't win. But the REAL numbers aren't in Obama's favor. Greater probability that O won't win.

Re: The numbers are NOT with Mitt
Why should anyone support Romney or Gingrich or any of these Republicans? The Republican Party and the Democratic Party are two sides of the same evil coin. Both are controlled by the hand of the New World Order.
For example, Newt Gingrich is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR):
(a foreign policy group in the US that doesn't care about our Constitution)
"The most powerful clique in these (CFR) groups have one objective in common: they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the U.S. They want to end national boundaries and racial and ethnic loyalties supposedly to increase business and ensure world peace. What they strive for would inevitably lead to dictatorship and loss of freedoms by the people. The CFR was founded for "the purpose of promoting disarmament and submergence of U.S. sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government."
- Harpers Magazine, July l958
Newt could care less about America. Romney is no better. He may not belong to this group (CFR), but he is still a puppet of the New World Order just like Obama is. They both are leading the sheep to the slaughter. These politicians work for the same system that is going to eventually lead us into the World Government led by the Beast mentioned in Revelation.

Re: The numbers are NOT with Mitt
So you'll not vote for Romney and help assure an Obama reelection. Perfect. Your logic is baffling. If the Bible prophesies it, you think you're going to prevent it? I have issues with Romney, bit I have a library full of issues with Obama! You're not going to get Jesus Christ on the ballot so you better resign yourself to voting to prevent a much more grave scenario than a Romney Presidency: an Obama second term.
