Cont'd Housing Downturn

I just read where the median price range for houses in the CA cities of Merced, Modesto, Stockton and Fresno is now below 100,000! My heart and prayers go out to those that still have properties there. Unbelievable. No need to discuss the reasons for this.....we all have heard it.

Those prices are still over inflated. An average family can not afford the house payments, property taxes, and upkeep on those houses. I feel for families who are caught in the situation where they are now paying more than that house is 'worth', however it is not worth trying to sell, and there is enduring temporal value in owning property (unless you are built in areas of landslides).
