Sympathy for Romney? Contempt for Cain!

I do, for Romney.

Too bad he has wasted so much money running for an office for which he will never be elected.

I doubt that I am the only American who has a problem with electing a Mormon for President, still there is a bit of something-I-guess-is-sympathy, but really not sure for a guy who is probably a very good...

politician.

On the other hand, I have nothing but comtempt for Cain!

Heres what Mitt should do. Instead of just saying "Ive changed my view" on Abortion, Gun control, and Gay Rights tell us WHY you have changed. Articulate the positin you NOW TAKE on these issues to convince us you mean it. Dont assume a qiuck, glib answer will do when these important issues are at stake.

All in all he seems like a knowledgable man and (other than being a Mormon) a decent family man.

Being a millionaire should be a positive.

At any rate, I see no reason to actually hold that against anyone unless they cheated and robbed to get it.

Re: Sympathy for Romney? Contempt for Cain!

If Romney is a Mormon, and he is, the positions mentioned are consistent with Mormon doctrines.
I have had Mormon neighbors, they are by and large great citizens, and hold values consistent with most Christians. He is running for president as a politician and not as a religious leader, so if his values are consistent, why should you not support him. Especially, if being a Mormon is your only objection????
I would rather support a Mormon in whom I hold common values, than a Christian, that is a leftist in which I don't not.

Romney catches flack for being Mormon. But Newt is Catholic and Perry is Methodist. Since most Apostolics believe that Mormonism, Catholicism, and Methodism are all in error... what's the difference?

Because the difference goes to the core of the matter. The question of who Jesus Christ is.... Now that being said, I would not refrain from supporting Romney simply because of his faith. I just wish he was more conservative!

Liberals like yourself should like Romeny. He at least agrees with his church.
The left has Harry Reid that flagrantly violates his churches teachings as does Pelosi.

With the leftist regime being led in the senate by a Mormon, their knocking Romney is rather hypocritical.

Utah Mormons? They use the KJV bible. The Missouri Mormons use the Joseph Smith "inspired" translation.
