Unemployment Down! Obama Deserves 4 More Years!
I heard the news that unemploymeny dropped to 8.6%. That's all BO's defenders need to declare that the recession is over, that stimulus works, that increased govt spending is the way to job creation, that BO's policies are working and that he deserves reelection in 2012. I'm glad unemployment has dropped. I'm happy that 200,000 jobs created. I'd rather see people back to work than unemployed no matter who is president.
Nevertheless the past three years have witnessed plenty of wrongheaded decisions and policies that we are still on an unsustainable course. We have reached $15 trillion in debt from $10 trillion in just three years. Estimates are $16 trillion by November 2012. He has shown no leadership on the subject and only proposes more spending or tax increases.
The unemployment numbers are looking better, certainly better than 9%, but the bulk of evidence against another Obama term is stacked high in spite of the occasional good news.
