Did Jesus literally rise from the dead?
Please explain.

If I could actually figure out how to post a poll, this might work. LOL

Re: Did Jesus literally rise from the dead?
I personally believe that He did, though I have to admit that I can't prove it empirically. That is where I often find the "apologist" crowd baying at my doorstep. It's a matter of faith. If it did happen, it happened in a manner and involved a force from outside of our measurable and knowable universe.

Re: Did Jesus literally rise from the dead?
Ortho, your question is not clear enough. Are you asking if the resurrection happened or are you asking if Jesus was literally in the same place every other human goes when they die?

- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Sorry. What I mean is, Did the resurrection really happen? Was Jesus physically, medically dead? If so, did he physically come back to life after three days?
I'm not asking whether Jesus went to heaven or hell or purgatory.

FYI, Ortho. For the next thread you create, before posting it you can scroll to the very bottom and find options for polling...
You'll see "Post a Poll" with the option to click in the box...

Hmmm, I clicked that box, but it didn't give me the chance to write any poll options.

Shouldn't you be making us all a sandwich right about now, Dagwood?

Did you click the next box below for the number of poll answers? It's default is 4, but you can select up to 7. It's been a while since the last poll I posted and can't remember what happens next...
