My Blog.
If no one minds, seeing as who Ferd and Dagwood both have entire threads posted about their lunches and things, I thought that I would come here and post about my blog.
My blog is www.jonathandtalbot.blogspot.com. I post about a variety of things, all of which interest me. It is also a way to keep up with me as I do things. Right now I am just started blogging about a trip I took to KC, MO. Come visit, I know that not every one will like what they read, but you know what I am before you every get there. I will see you there.

Re: My Blog.
Yup, I blame it on Ferd. However, I don't have an official online blog. I've given it some thought, but I'll probably stick with the forum for a while...

I'll challenge you. If you have the time and patience, give it a try. You'll never know 'til you go...

I did, and even though I do not have many views yet, I do enjoy it. Besides, I would read it and check back often (depending on what you wrote about of course).

Re: My Blog.
There is a new post on my blog. I just posted it. Any errors found therein are my own.
Tomorrow, I will be updating it again, and you will actually get to see a picture of me (I try to avoid those ).

Hmmmm....It is possible.
My family was out that way a number of years back. In fact, I remember Syracuse and its single stoplight very well. We lived at the top of the hill by the airport. I think there were two or three other houses at the end of the street in that direction. Going down the hill you passed the library (my favorite place), a large church with bells that could be heard anywhere in town (or so it seemed), and at the the bottom of the hill was Highway 50, the Doghouse, and the stoplight. I believe there was also a pizza parlor next door to the movie theater if I remember correctly. As I said, many years ago. I would have been 10 when we arrived and 11-12 when we left.
I do remember some of the other things as well. I know that we were an hour from anywhere that was somewhere and not a wheat field. We had to shop in Garden City for food once a month. I remember our time there as a place where it was great to be a kid. Everyone knew everything, and had everyone's phone number in their rolodex. (My younger brother found that out the hard way, but that is another story).
Monterrey, would you tell me more of what you remember of our time there, and how you knew us? It would interest me very much.
