A young man (contractor) and his wife in our church just started a new ministry called Hopeful Living. It is for restoring hope through restoring homes. Our city government gives him names of people who need home repairs and can't afford it, and he goes in and does estimates, then the team comes in and works. This week we scraped all the old paint off a house in East Jackson, replaced rotting boards and put two coats of paint on it. I wanted to show you the difference it made in this little lady's life! She also helped us paint, as the homeowners are required to help with all projects.

Well, I wish I could say it was my idea. But I just get to be a part. It was really fun out there knowing we were blessing someone who wasn't quite as fortunate financially. Hopefully she was affected by our witness. Time will tell.
