The Ideologue Couldn't Help Himself

Well the speech was pretty balanced until he got to the end where he started lecturing the GOP about "dismanteling government" and "being on a race to the bottom". I don't think he convinced the GOP with his pompous rant there at the bend. He just couldn't help himself. He isn't a politician, Bill Clinton was a politician. BO is an ideologue and it will take him all the way to defeat next November.

Re: The Ideologue Couldn't Help Himself

Well, it looks like the Associated Press is not agreeing with Obama's job's bill.

Quote:
FACT CHECK: Obama's jobs plan paid for? Seems not

President Barack Obama's promise Thursday that everything in his jobs plan will be paid for rests on highly iffy propositions.

Essentially, the jobs plan is an IOU from a president and lawmakers who may not even be in office down the road when the bills come due.

The best part of the president's speech last night was that part about math. I thought to myself, "Ooooo! What a great idea! Start using math to be fiscally sound! That is smart! Really, really smart!"
