Piper's Response to President Obama on Abortion

This little video has been around for a couple of years, but it's still as important as ever.

Amid all the talk about the economy and socialized healthcare, we shouldn't forget that there is another deeper battle that we're fighting for: the lives of unborn children.

Naw, you're fine. I didn't take it that way by any means. Thumbs up to support your post, as it's no less important than the issues you mentioned...

Re: Piper's Response to President Obama on Abortio

This was President Obama's complete statement that was made January 2011

Obama's statement:
Today marks the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that protects women's health and reproductive freedom, and affirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.

I am committed to protecting this constitutional right. I also remain committed to policies, initiatives, and programs that help prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant women and mothers, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption.

And on this anniversary, I hope that we will recommit ourselves more broadly to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights, the same freedoms, and the same opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.

end of statement.

President Obama's statement is that he will uphold the Constitution, and is committed to policies, initiatives, and programs that help prevent unintended pregnancies from ever happening. He supports pregnant women and mothers, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption. To me this does not sound like a statement that wants to kill babies. He wants to prevent the conception of unintended babies. His last comment was that he believed that our sons and daughters should have the same freedoms, opportunities and rights...If this was said by any other person, you probably would agree.

I guess the decision of whether to buy healthcare insurance or not is not a "private family matter".
I'm glad the 11th circuit disagreed with BHO's assessment on that.

So, unintended conceptions = "Oops, I did it again!" Which means taxpayers will likely foot the bill thanks to her (and his) lack of restraint. Another excuse to give young girls and boys who want to "explore" out of lust the right to murder an unborn child if one is conceived. As far as I'm concerned, both the irresponsible mother and father should have to pay a form of child support on the child they, themselves, created 'til its 18th birthday.

Remember: be careful who and what you support. You'll be suffering just as much as the person or persons you disagree with on this. End of discussion...

We both know that Obama is strongly pro-choice (i.e. pro-abortion), no matter how carefully he crafts his words.

And what about the rights of the little girls inside the womb? Doesn't the Constitutional right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness apply to unborn children as well?

I don't know that, because it is not true. That is the problem with folks, they make up lies and tell them for the truth. Don't bring me in on it. Not one Democrat that I know believes in abortion as a method of birth control. That is what all the republicans holler about, and it is not true.
