May 15th - GAS BOYCOTT

Tomorrow, May 15, is Gas boycott day - Has anyone heard about this?

Hoax and it will not work. We need new refineries and production. If you are considering the boycott- call your elected officials instead.

Single day gas boycotts do no good whatsoever IMO.

If the people chose a company (and all of its subsidiaries) and boycotted them for a time then they may get something done.

I won't be buying gas tomorrow but it is because I don't need any gas.

what D4T said. you want to have an impact, boycott one single company.


the biggest impact that will have will be one single company will have a lot of layoffs.

this is one of the lamest ideas out there.... if everyone boycotts for one day, everyone knows you'll be in later in the week to fill up.... sales may dip for one day, but will be higher on other days when everyone goes back.... only a complete boycott would work, and that isn't going to happen....
