Just wondering what some think of ministers standing on top of the pulpit
while preaching.......... Personally I think it's ridiculous!!!!
Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a exciting minister..... But personally
I've never done such a thing......... I believe it's a respect thing!!!
I've never been a senior pastor, but I cringed everytime someone did it
at my old church...........

Seen one stand on the pulpit and jump off onto the floor, not the platform. Can't remember what the preaching was, 2nd dumbest thing I saw. The1st dumbest thing was someone kicking their shoes off into the congregation, lucky noone got beaned in the head. also saw someone take their water bottle and throw the water over the first couple of rows. These were all visiting evangelists.

So what do you guys think????????????
Who cares? Is the pulpit special or something? It's just a piece of furniture. How is it disrespectful? A little crazy, yeah, but disrespectful? Of what or whom?
I only know of one person who does this, and it's pretty much in keeping with the rest of his over-the-top, very "passionate" personality. I really don't see the problem. I would be shocked and surprised if my pastor did it for whatever reason, but I wouldn't think he was being disrespectful. I would think he was acting crazy.

I guess when I say disrespectful............ I mean to all those people who
may give thier offerings, tithes, etc..............
Then see someone stand on it and possibly break it.......
I don't mean disrespectful to God........ I'm sure he just shakes his head..Lol
