Obama Ignores Easter

When is America going to wake up? I'm sick of all the panty-waist liberals and wishy-washy, fence straddling conservatives letting Obama get by with all of his junk. He runs with Socialists, Marxist, Communist and a pastor that uses God's name in vain in referring to America and he gets a pass.

Obama goes out of his way to recognize Muslim holy days and then fails to mention the most important Christian holiday, Easter. And then he claims to be a Christian! And it appears he gets another pass! WHY?

What will all of the liberal lovers do when we wake up some morning and the America that we have known and loved is no more?

Oh, yes I'm aware Obama went to church Sunday and another pastor of his choosing slams conservatives from the pulpit. If I had done that my church would lose it's 501(c)(3) rating in a heart beat.

Hurry up 2012. We need to get rid of all the occupants in the White House, including all of the conservatives, that no longer stand up for and care about America and what it has stood for in all the years of the past.

His remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast were fabulous though. I have to give him that. It's too bad he didn't say anything, but then again, it seems people are keeping score against him to prove his Christianity.

I don't think he's a Muslim. He's just not good for America.

The White House hosted an Easter Egg Roll, and the president also hosted an Easter-themed prayer breakfast, at which he said this:

"I wanted to host this breakfast for a simple reason -- because as busy as we are, as many tasks as pile up, during this season, we are reminded that there's something about the resurrection -- something about the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ, that puts everything else in perspective.
"We all live in the hustle and bustle of our work... But then comes Holy Week. The triumph of Palm Sunday. The humility of Jesus washing the disciples' feet. His slow march up that hill, and the pain and the scorn and the shame of the cross. And we're reminded that in that moment, he took on the sins of the world -- past, present and future -- and he extended to us that unfathomable gift of grace and salvation through his death and resurrection.
"In the words of the book Isaiah: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
"This magnificent grace, this expansive grace, this 'Amazing Grace' calls me to reflect. And it calls me to pray. It calls me to ask God for forgiveness for the times that I've not shown grace to others, those times that I've fallen short. It calls me to praise God for the gift of our son -- his Son and our Savior."

Re: Obama Ignores Easter

Had Obama issued an Easter proclamation, it would have been the first time since at least 1980 that a president had done so.

I'm not trying to prove or disapprove his Christianity as such, necessarily. I simply want the main stream media and the liberals to tell us why they don't hold him to the same rules that they have held other presidents to.

And for someone to deny that there is not a difference in Obama's favor, they need a seeing eye dog!

Re: Obama Ignores Easter

Come on Fife. It's all over the news. Why are you trying to cover for Obama. It's obvious it's a snub!

Your White House issues a letter recognizing every major Muslim feast day, scads of other religious, secular and cause-related occasions, and stays completely silent on Easter?
Thomas Peters Catholic Vote.org

Obama skips statement on Easter; has commemorated all Muslim holidays...
Drudge Report

Jay Carney, White Press Secretary even said he didn’t know if Obama put out a statement or not! Oh yea!

Protect Obama... Protect Obama.... That needs to be the campaign slogan for him for 2012. Protect Obama!
