Praise Report - Son Got A Job
My son who is a former United States Marine Iraq war veteran has spent the last couple of years working on offshore oil rigs. That is until our wonderful President put that moratorium on deep water offshore drilling in the Gulf.
My son lost his job and spent a few months looking for a new one. He finally got a two month gig on an oil drill ship being refitted in Mobile, Alabama where he spent a month and then another month taking it across the ocean.
He got back from that a couple of weeks ago and out of the blue his old employer called the other day and hired him back to work on an offshore oil rig in the Gulf AND at a better position / income than he last had. Hallelujah!!!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Wonderful! I'd comment on Obama's moratorium, but I don't see the Republicans doing much to get us off of foreign oil either.

Awesome. I've got a feeling it couldn't have happened to a better guy.
Praise God.
