Obama Care: 111 Exemptions, 1.2 Million Americans
Obama Care, the change most of didn't want, has now given 111 exemptions to unions and companies seeking cover from the marvels of Obama Care. The exemptions are being handed out by Obama Central Planning to quell an every rising chorus of American unions and companies unable to meet OC requirements.
Anyone that followed the legislative debacle of OC should be aware how much support Obama received from labor unions in support of his vision to socialize medical care. How interesting it is to read the list of those begging for relief from OC. One can not help but notice how many unions are now asking for waivers to protect themselves from OC. Oh the hypocrisy of it all.
About 1,200,000 Americans have now received waivers from OC. Why is it necessary to protect Americans from the ravages of OC? Well, maybe it is because OC is a bad idea, conceived in haste, and implemented in total ignorance.
A senior vice president for human resources and communication at Minnetonka-based Carlson says, “The [Health and Human Services] waiver allowed us to continue providing health benefits to our team members at an affordable cost while giving us additional time to develop longer-term approaches. ” If OC was such a brilliant idea, an idea that would “bend the cost curve,” (according to the world renowned economic genius, Joe Biden) why are so many companies now seeking legal cover from it? What did Obama promise? Wasn't it something like, no one would lose the coverage they’ve got?
