Dogs!

I know many of our posters have dogs, I thought I would start a thread for us to post pics of our dogs and any dog stories you may have.

This is our dog Hank.

Hank is the first dog we have had in 7yr. We were in the midst of moving and was about to go into the local hardware store when we passed a lady standing by a Chevy Suburban with it's hatch open full of puppies. Well, we could not resist and took one home.

After we took Hank home and showed him to all our friends, many of the responses were, "He looks like he has some pitbull in him." sure enough when I looked on line he resembled many photos of the pitbulls on line. We honestly thought about adopting him out because of it, knowing the reputation of pitbulls. But we were already attached to him, and actually has been a very good dog so far, and I think is kind of handsome!

I'm always up for posting dog pics.

Our boy Hermes doing what a border collie loves doing most (after sheep herding of course).

Little Rocket J (a Llasa)who wishes he was a border collie, but can't seem to catch a Frisbee if his life depended on it.

What great pics are those RW! I love Border Collies I think they are considered one of if not the smartest dog-

As for your Little Rocket...how stinken cute is that?! Love that picture!

I watch his show- are his books a big help?

I don't know, I've never opened one. LOL
But I do watch the show fairly regularly. Sometimes he gets a bit weird with the "energy" thing but if you remove some terminology he actually has a point.

I know people who have his books though and they say he goes into MUCH more depth, especially as it pertains to breeds, then he does on his show.
