Good question. I would say that reversing discriminatory laws (or whatever DADT was) has nothing to do with "the church/body of Christ/fellowship of believer" however you want to term it. I really think that if you want to change someone's mind about whether or not something's right, there's a much better way to do it that does not involve passing laws about their lifestyle.
Now that my personal belief about the issue is stated, I'm sure you understand why I don't think believe that reversing DADT would cause God to start up some plagues of nature. I don't think there are any instances of those happening in the New Testament (correct me if I'm wrong please), so I'm not sure that those would happen at all after Jesus's sacrifice. (according to the Bible)
(I did think that DADT was good to protect gays in the military from violent people who would harm them for their lifestyle, but I can also understand why gays would want it reversed and know that there are documented cases where it was used to abuse.)
