Demons at the Altar
I was at a camp meeting once where after the altar call the preachers singled out a young woman as having a demon. This was a service that the power and presence of God was palpable...
My question is: how could a demon be ANYWHERE NEAR that tabernacle?

I'd buy it as a fake. No one ever called me out, and really anyone with half a brain should have gone "oh hey..um...duh."
As for the woman being there, cuz she wanted to be. As for the demon being there, I dunno. Cuz the woman wanted to be there?

Re: Demons at the Altar
A demon can be anywhere - even as Satan himself being in the physical presence of Jesus Christ. Even taking Him to the top of the Temple. However, like Jesus, we now have the authority to impose the power of the Holy Spirit on thepowers of darkness and command the demon to depart.

Re: Demons at the Altar
I have actually seen a demon possessed person be delivered. I can only describe the actual form of the demon as a black ball of what looked like thread. It traveled in the air down the side of the room and out the door of the sanctuary. I don't really remember if the person was called out or not.
And I agree with Nahkoe, the demon was there because the person was there.
