North Korean Policy?

Does this make sense? The North starves her people, spends more money on weapons and what do we do? We give them aid to feed their own people.

This policy does not work

Re: North Korean Policy?

Our policy with North korea is horrific. It is so bad but media coverage is worse. We are close to seeing them start war.

Re: North Korean Policy?

I don't know how much money or food we give them but by providing food or humanitarian aid we may be saving some lives, and of course, that frees up more government funds for weapons development.

It's sorta like providing free meals in schools.
Children are fed and their parents have more money available for drugs, etc.
but
the parents probably would not have used that money for food anyway.

So, are we enabling parents when we feed their children and are we enabling North Korea when we feed their people?
