How do you feel about aisle runners?

I think they look great in weddings, with flower petals sprinkled all over them.

I think this one is kind of cool.

Re: Aisle Runners

personally I think it's silly and can be distracting to visitors if not down right scary.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

There are some double sided adhesive tape type products that can make your aisle runners less "scary." Placement and getting the proper size of a runner is key. No one wants to see visitors tripping over poorly placed runners.

What I don't like are the clear plastic ones that were popular in homes in the seventies. These are too noisy in any environment and are really only good if you intend to host a convention of lumberjacks or poorly house broken pets.

Flower petals like Missy Bratt mentioned give color for many festive occasions. Anything with those tiny bits of foil "glitter" should be avoided, however. Have fun shopping around, Charnock. Maybe you'll also see some lace doilies to decorate the backs of the pews.

I dunno, Pel. Lace doilies may be too distracting and dangerous to visitors.

They tend to get wrinkled and I trip over them. I don't like them.

Exactly! However, make sure you never unroll it until after everyone has been seated and right before the bridal party precession.
