Rev. Donald Deck
Does anyone here remember him or know him?
I remember him preaching at the church I attended for years, but always wondered what happened to him. He was UPCI. I think he left the UPC when the split happened?

I remember him. Don't know where he is. He left in 1994 over the affirmation statement, along with a lot of other great apostolic preachers. The devil worked a great work.

Yes, I remember him. He pastored in a town about 15 minutes from where I grew up. Great preacher.
Friends of mine are still in touch with them, I'll find out where they are and how they are doing.

I think he is in southern Indiana, near Bloomington, and not in the UPC.
I think he is pastoring a church.

Re: Rev. Donald Deck
Don Deck is in Indiana, but has either dementia or alzheimer's or something. He's not in good shape. Very sad. His son in law is Terry Smith, who pastors in Orange, NJ.

Oh, how sad! I'm so sorry to hear that. Truly he was a great preacher. To this day I still remember some of his teachings, they had such an impact on me. He preached on Psalm 91 once and it has never left me along with Psalm 5.
Thanks to everyone who responded.
