Re: 4 yr olds can be sued!

I just read this article.

Cases like this reflect what's wrong with our justice system.

I could understand maybe suing their parents-- what would you gain in suing the children?

Doing something just because you can doesn't mean it is right or reflects common sense or positive.

I agree, letter of the law says parents should pay, but it was a innocent minded 4 yr old child.

Re: 4 yr olds can be sued!

pretty rough, it caused the 87 year old woman to fracture her hip, and 3 months later she died. so she never really recovered.

I mean i dont know about putting it on the kid but the parent being present should be accountable for the child regardless. the kid is just a kid, they wanted to have fun and they see no danger in what they were doing.

I think it comes back to the parent on this case, and not the child just my 2 cents

Got a point, we are responsible for our kids, but sure if I'd follow through witha suit, but we don't know maybe the parents have mistreated the family over this. Some suits are just from being not heard or respected.
