Suicidal thoughts
I'm going through a very stressful time and nothing I do seems to be helping.
I want things to get better but it seems like they aren't. I have no idea what else to do . I'm hoping prayer will help.  .

Praying for you Sis.
Consider also seeing a doctor. When I started having health problems it came on as "depression." The fact that it also coincided with some pretty heavy betrayals that I experienced made me think that it was all "emotional" or something. Turns out the underlying health issues exacerbated the already difficult circumstances I was enduring.
Each of us is different but none of us is alone. You are a unique creation in all of God's work. That's gotta mean something to Him. You mean something to Him.

I can only echo the advice given by Pelathais. You are a design of God Himself. This time will pass, but medical assistance or a professional counselor might be very beneficial in the interim.

I'll echo Pel and Hoovie... it's amazing how something physically off balance in our bodies can alter the way we think. I went through a serious depression a few years ago and got a full round of blood work done. Though nothing showed up on the tests, when I mentioned the tests to someone else, they asked what was wrong, listened, and suggested a simple change in diet. I was amazed at the difference.

Suicide really is a permanently bad solution to a temporary situation.
Let someone close to you know what you are goingthrough, let that perosn know your thoughts and let that person know that you need help.
This is what your brothers and sisters and Christ are for-- to help each other.

Praying.....
Things will get better but don't be afraid to step out and do whatever you can for yourself. Eat right, exercise, get a check-up. Sometimes it is nothing more than a physical problem. Other times, it is brought on by circumstances. Sometimes it is both.
