Lets put the FRIENDS back in AFF!
I've been reading (though not posting much) the threads on AFF lately and it seems some have forgotten the word FRIENDS in the Apostolic Friends Forum. I have several friends on AFF, though I haven't had the chance to meet many of them.
I read this in the Bible this morning:
3Jo 1:14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
Greet the friends by name. So, I thought I'd do what Paul tells us to do and say hello to my friends. Who are your friends on AFF? Say hello to them!

Hello, Sis Sherri, I trust you and Bro. Eddie are well.
Hello, Renda enjoying that little bundle of joy?.

Yes, I've been in nana heaven for the past couple days! I kept her all day yesterday, stayed with them last night and did night duty so they could sleep and I have her today!!!!! Whoohoooo!!!

We are friends.
We are brothers and sisters.
We don't agree on every thing but
if two people are exactly alike, one of them is unnecessary.
In my opinion, the body of Christ is made up of many different colors, sizes and shapes. We have different religious traditions and backgrounds. We are diverse. Some of us may be trinity, some may be oneness, some might not like either label. Some of us may watch tv and others may not. Some of us may be one-steppers and some of us may be three-steppers. Some of us may be Protestant, some Catholic or Orthodox, some Apostolic/Pentecostal/Charismatic (I use the terms interchangeably). We all may have different convictions as to what foods to eat, what to wear, where we can go. The main thing, in my opinion, is to accept one another and agree to disagree without being disagreeable.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

One Accord, you are correct. I thoroughly enjoy the friendship here and miss it when it's not apparent in the posters comments! The friendship and camaraderie is a primary reason for me being here.
