Should this District Attorney resign?

It's not often that I want to take a two by four to someone's head for rank stupidity, but this is one of those times.

Quote:
A prominent Wisconsin district attorney sent repeated text messages trying to spark an affair with a domestic abuse victim while he was prosecuting her ex-boyfriend, a police report shows.

The 26-year-old woman complained last year to police after receiving 30 texts from Calumet County District Attorney Kenneth Kratz in three days, according to the report obtained by The Associated Press.
link (and the next paragraph of that article, I will warn you, contains the contents of one of those text messages)

The DA says the texts were "not sexual" but the first paragraph of this article cites one of the phrases. It's so insanely unprofessional, I can't even hardly believe it.

So, should this guy resign? I think so.

Obama's friend Kiwame Kilpatrick Mayor of Detroit conducted an electronic relationship. This is normal for Democrats. For Republicans. don't ever tap a shoe on the floor except when you are in church.

This is illegal misconduct on his part. It goes beyond resignation.
Suspend his lisence.

Yes, I think he should.

No, he should not resign...he should be fired before he can resign.

No details ... but about 8 or 9 years ago I could relate with the boyfriend in all this ... sans the being charged with any crimes ... actually might be the other way around .... when I went through a similar experience where I had to communicate to the person in authority who was making appointments ... that appeared to be "welcomed"

Throw the book at him.
