Assuming for the sake of argument the planet is generally getting warmer, can our policies reverse this trend? I was listening to a radio talk show quote Boxer (who is facing political trouble here at home with he re-election,thank God). She spouted the usual job killing drivel from the left about how we need to do something about it.
But I was thinking, even if we consider the evidence in favor of global warming, what evidence is there that it's man made or that we can reverse it? It really sounds more like a political issue than a eco issue

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Just vote NO Ma'am.
We do see CO2 levels rising. We have some consensus that temperatures may have risen .6 degrees over the last 100 years.
And (hopefully) election events remove Barbara Boxer and the rest of her friends.

Nope... the other planets in our solar system are experience rising temperatures as well. There is a perturbation galaxy wide that is causing all the planets to warm. But there aren't politicians on the other planets to take advantage of the fact.

We could send Boxer and Al Gore to the other planets to help.

if we were to assume that Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) was both real and as dangerous as the IPCC says it is, we would have to cut emissions in the developing world by half in the next 5 years, then we would have to stop the developing world from developing.
That means making China, India, Brazil and the rest of the nations that make up 5 billion of the 6 billion people on the planet, stop advancing.
All this would do would slow the growth of CO2 in the atmosphere to a level that it might (MIGHT) stop rising from where it is not. It would not drive the number down from its current level.
However, there is not one single bit of evidence that CO2 is going to cause a crossing of a tipping point where the earths temperature rises to a level that is dangerous for humanity.
Yes CO2 causes some warming. However CO2 only makes up 5% of the greenhouse gas in the Atmosphere. Nearly 94% of green house gas is naturally occurring water vapor. If you take into consideration that the current level of CO2 in the atmosphere is about 380ppm (parts per million) and the level of CO2 at the beginning of the industrial age was 280 ppm, then 74% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural and not caused by man. That means that 1.25% of the total green house effect comes from man caused CO2 in the atmosphere!
That is right. we are being told by “scientists” and politicians that 1.25% of the total green house gas effect is going to tip the global climate beyond our ability to cope. Never mind that the models they use to make these predictions all state that we should have crossed that tipping point. That the feed back effect of that small amount of warming would cause a spiral of warming.. and never mind the fact that this has not happened.
1.25% of the total green house gas effect on the planet is (They say) going to drive us over the cliff….
Aint gonna happen folks. Not now. Not ever.
Also physics tells us that CO2’s ability to cause warming is logarithmic. That means that the more you add the less impact it has. The first bit of CO2 has a bigger impact, but eventually you get to a point where adding more Co2 will have no impact. That magic line is around 900 PPM.

What do these non scientists offer for technical methods of reducing Co2? Plants are fed CO2. It increases plant growth and reduces water consumption.
BOTTOM LINE IS . iF MAN COULD CONTROL THE WEATHER PATTERNS ,WE WOULD. Thankfully we cant. What a mess that would be.
Can't even forecast the weather.
The Met Office in the UK has a new huge computer. They have been wrong on forecasts 10 of the last 10 years. 9 of the years their forecasts were hotter than actual. So much for BBQ summers.
