Last night my daughter and I saw the Disney on Broadway version of Mary Poppins, and let me say that it was most wonderful surprise I have had in a long time! I was expecting a broadway version of the movie, and instead saw a whole new take on the story. In the play version, there is a rival nanny, several new songs, and while the "Love to Laugh" scene is gone, it is replaced by an amazing version of "supercalifrag..."well you know the rest.
But the grandest surprise was certainly the role of Bert (the chimney sweep) rather than a nice, dirty guy with a touch of luck, he takes on a role of almost a guardian angel, complete with a scene where he walks on the walls and ceiling!
The fact that Mary literally flies over the audience was also incredible. If it is playing anywhere near you, go see it!!

We all saw it at The Fox Theater in St Louis a year ago. The girls say they like it even better than the Phantom of the Opera which had been their fav before.
Yeah I admit falling pretty hard too.... LOL! bought over a hundred bucks worth memorabilia.
I am disappointed in one thing though, Pro., "even higher" indicates you did not hold me with highest respect prior to the show! What gives?
Step in Time!
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

No, No, No- You misunderstand, fine sir- I already held you in the highest esteem imaginable. However upon seeing the show, my level of respect went even higher, you know like when you see a thermometer that is at the top then explodes? I didn't know I could be so in awe of a person

Thanks for clarifying that my dear. I know how you feel. My feelings are mutual (concerning myself)

You have no idea how familiar that comment sounds

If anybody needs straightened out about Hoovie, just ask me, he's my brother-in-law. So what cross do you have to bear? :-)
That's all good... just remember who controls the infraction and ban buttons.
