Marriage of New Jerusalem

When did the marriage of the New Jerusalem occur?

or

When will the marriage of the New Jerusalem occur?

I hope it has already occurred since we are all children of the union.

Are you saying that the following scriptures have already been fulfilled?

(Rev 19:6) And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
(Rev 19:7) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
(Rev 19:8) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

and

(Rev 21:2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

For a God who will not transgress his own law it would seem that there could be no children until this scripture is fulfilled.

If this scripture is not fulfilled then the lamb has no bride but is merely betrothed and, therefore, there can be no children.

I was under the understanding that we were children of this one who sat on the throne.

Any child born of this union before these scriptures are fulfilled is an illegitimate child born outside lawful and Godly union.

Very Good!

Now, take that all the way back to the day of Pentecost!

So the marriage of the Lamb and the New Jerusalem had to have occurred on the Day of Pentecost or the church was founded in sin!

Or they were just espoused without consumation???

Indeed. This would be in keeping with God's perfect and beautiful law.

The presence of children tends to negate that possibility.
