I detest soccer.............
As soon as the US lost (I knew they would)....I tuned out.
The other day I was eating in a Logans steakhouse, and some obscure country was playing some other unknown banana republic....and someone missed a goal by a country mile.....and they showed the replay of that missed goal 3 or 4 times.....a missed goal!!!!
Give me NFL, NBA, MLB, or boxing.....or March Madness, or College football, or golf, or tiddlywinks, or....anything but soccer.

They aren't totally bad at other sports...Leandro Barbosa... i.e. "the Brazilian Blur" is a great basketball player.

It was a huge thing in Kenya too, and in Amsterdam. Everywhere we went (that had electricity), we saw soccer.
