Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

Well, if people found a way to elongate their neck like the people of these pictures, then it wouldn't surprise me if they found a way to elongate their heads...

I read that Mayans used to bind their children's heads in a similar fashion to Chinese foot-binding, in order to get an elongated shape. They would also hang a bead between the eyes so that their eyes would become permanently crossed, and file their teeth to points.
