2 major Calif. churches going Back to Sunday Nights

2 Large churches in CA. that had Dropped Their Sunday night services are going back to it. One Already has (the largest church in the west).

I guess the idea of share groups on sunday nights didn't work out ???

I wonder how hard it;s going to be to get the people back into the habit of coming on Sunday nights after having their sunday evenings off to do whatever.

maybe this is a good sign. i think this is a little encourging

I am so used to going on Sunday nights for yrs I would dislike it very much not to be able to have church then.

I have a friend who has service at 2pm on Sunday but that wouldnt be my cup of tea at all.

Hard for us old folks to break old habits.

a church i am attending is going to just a morning service....Bummer! I enjoy going so much that I would find another church to go for the night service. Oh well, I guess I can tune into some of ya'lls. Any of you have live web casting (or whatever it's called)? I know Bro. Bass in Ocala has his services available online.

Yeah, many people skip sunday nights because of boating and stuff... I don't get it though. There's nothing that can take the place of being the presence of God!!!

I loved it up here! We had -20 weather and lots of snow. It's beautiful now. One of the most unusual things (for me ) was to see most of the church show up one Sunday morning after an incredible snow, riding their snowmobiles.... Twas very funny. But you won't see me ever doing that. I'm one of those who just aint gonna get her hair messed up!

well this confirms what i was told. the people just disappear in the summer to take advantage of the warm weather. It's been hotter than hell here this weekend(high90s) we would be glad to pipe some of it up to you lol. BTW, how is the church life up there?

it's 54 right now! Please don't send any heat!!! lol Church is going fine. We have seemed to make friends with many people here and in the district itself.... It's very different from the southern way of church that i was used to...... They have lots of rallies and I like that. Now if we can just a get a lil more fire, it'd be great....

Speaking of the rallies, I've gotta brag on my son. He just turned 9 and he played the drums for the end of the altar service at a rally ! I was on the keyboard and I looked over and there he was! I was sooo proud!!!!!!
