Anyone else love Google Chrome?

I made the jump to Google Chrome browser about 6 months ago and never looked back. Its faster, makes the screen bigger, and almost never never crashes.

Anyone else a Chrome fan?

Re: Anyone else love Google Chrome?

I use Chrome now perhaps more than any other browser, but it does have its limitations.

Try to add one of the "static" smilie gifs from the "Post Icons" selects by dragging and dropping - you get this:

You also see the mark up in your posts on AFF's vBulletin platform. I actually like that, but most folks hate it.

Chrome is definitely a faster browser and doesn't run into a lot of the kinks that IE and even Firefox have.

I prefer chrome, but other activities I'm involved in (drug deals, binge drinking, etc) have better apps for Firefox, so I switched back.

Now a real big fan ... but still love FireFox, more.

Their Google Maps app for my BlackBerry is the best thing since bejeweled chopsticks for long, uncut hair.

Re: Anyone else love Google Chrome?

I like Chrome a LOT better than Firefox, but it does have a couple of things that bother me. I seem to have a floating cursor when I'm posting here, on fb or typing in addresses. At any moment my cursor moves to a different spot and I end up typing in a new spot within a paragraph or on the page. It's weird. Also, when I try to do Ctrl B, Ctrl I or Ctrl U when typing posts, it doesn't work. I have to actually select the text and hit the buttons above the text box.

Other than that--I love the dual address/search box, the abililty to sync bookmarks (which isn't unique to Chrome, but Firefox's sync feature didn't work as well for me), more space on the screen, and the endless shortcuts.

Re: Anyone else love Google Chrome?

I hate them all! Chrome is probably the best browser out right now. Firefox has memory leaks which become very noticable when you open lots of tabs. I've had firefox to at least 700,000 MB memory usage before. It crashed. When I opened it up again I had it open all the pages i had up before and it took much less memory.

I always liked my file tools options stuff at the top... chrome doesn't have that which is probably my only complaint.

Chrome does have tools/options--they're just in a different spot.
