Jesus called people fools...I think a misunderstanding of what Jesus is conveying here is the problem. He is talking about doing something out of anger. In other words calling someone a name simply because you are mad at them

Sometimes there is a cause to state the obvious: Galatians 3:1, for example.
I don't think Obama's and "idiot" at all. He knows what he wants and he's working very hard to achieve those ends. Consider the Health Care debacle. As public opinion rose in opposition to a single payer system - Obama came out saying that he had no plans and no intention for a single payer system. All of this despite the fact that he had been campaigning for years calling for... a single payer system!
