Yes, that was a good article.
Thank God for a Father who loves us.

We don't read anything about the mother of the prodigal but I assume she had spent lots of time praying for her son to come home.

Bro. Sam,
I have thought about that myself. Where was Momma! However it seems
that women through the ages, many times have not been very visible.

My late mother was not seen a lot, especially in the years of taking care
of her family. She would definitely would have been considered a 'keeper
at home". With eleven children she didn't have a lot of time to spend out
of the home. She was always seen at church with her pastor husband, As
we older ones got older, and especially after I married and started a family,
she and Dad would go to campmeetings, General Conferences, other such
trips.

I have also wondered where Jesse's wife, David's mother was. The Bible as
far as I have been able to find, doesn't tell her name.
