Just Wondering Has anyone been to Israel lately, Do the Jews Tithe today like they did in OT(Mint Cummin Herbs) Times. Or did it stop. What about the temple? Thanks
Re: Do the Jews Tithe Today Like they did in the O
No. Jews believe that the tithe would be a violation of God's Law because the vast majority of Rabbis are not Levites. Nor is there a temple in operation at the moment. Also the tithe was only required of individuals who tended the land in various districts of Israel. The tithe didn't cover everyone nor did it cover every occupation.

Guess there are pros and cons to living in the age of grace!

I don't think it has to do with "grace."
The tithing laws were for crops, produce and livestock to feed the Levites, priests, and the poor. Since there is no temple nor Levites and priests, tithing cannot be done any longer according to the Scriptures. The poor are helped outside the "tithing" system because there are still poor people.

That's the second time I've heard this. Do you have scripture to back up this claim?

Sounds Good, Just wondering do you believe in paying your tithes today like some churches preach today.
