God's church, spiritual warfare. Certain buildings or groups, sometimes firing squads. But most often, I see it more like trench warfare... first ones out of the trenches may be as likely to be shot from behind as from the enemy lines they are rushing. Moral? Always wear full body armor, keep your head down, and stay toward the back of the herd!

I was responding earlier with some personal experiences in mind.
I wonder why it is that when we say we're going to do "spiritual warfare" what it so often really means is "we're going to wrestle with flesh and blood until everyone in the church gets in line with the new standards?"
Shouldn't "spiritual warfare" involve "warfare" against "principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places?" ... and be less concerned with who went to the CCM concert last week?
Brother David takes the award for being able to turn every thread into a standards thread.
