Goodbye Okmulgee...I love you
In 1993 my wife and I drove into Okmulgee for a 6 month stay. Little did we know the tremendous blessings we would receive the following 13 1/2 years. For 4 1/2 years I had the honor of assisting Rev. Mark Morgan. The next 9 years I was privileged to be the pastor of some of the finest people God ever placed on the earth.
However, tonight ended a chapter in our lives. I resigned as pastor of Deliverance Tabernacle. This morning I was voted in as pastor of the church in Corinth, MS.
Today has been a bitter sweet experience. I have shed many tears and held my family close. I wish the church in Okmulgee knew how much I love them.
While we look forward to the challenge in Corinth, we will miss Okmulgee greatly.
Please pray for us and the saints in Okmulgee.
God Bless!

We recently had a youngster pass through here preaching and he said he knew MM and considered him a mentor. He also said that the pastor here was a good man because anyone who could pastor in Okmulgee has to be a good man...then he made a statement that kind of puzzled me...he said Okmulgee was where all the demons bedded down for the night, then in the morning went on their merry way...
Godspeed Toof!

I trust all went well. I never doubted that you would do the will of God regardless of the personal angst and emotion. May God bless all that you do for Him in this new endeavor.
