Chicago has fallen on the first low hurdles.
No US hosting the 2016 games.

BHO, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and the Mayor of Chicago couldn't win the votes!

Michelle Obama even used her best Oprah moment and tried to use her fathers disability to win sympathy votes ... didn't work.

To put this in perspective ...

Prime Minister Tony Blair personally appealed - and won London's vote for 2012
Russian President/PM Vladmir Putin also personally appealed - and won Sochi's vote for 2014

They got it done ... BHO couldn't.

On one hand, we like to see our political enemies realize they can't have anything they want, but on the other hand we are becoming America haters, not truly wanting America to win the bid for the olympic games. Have the tables changed for us? Are us anti-Obama people now wishing for the demise of America? Let the economy fail. Anything for this Prez to be embarrassed?

Just thinking out loud.

Really am happy though that South America will finally host the games.

I'm not wanting America's demise ... nor do I want the economy to fail, however

#1. Chicago/Illinois is incredibly corrupt and shouldn't be awarded for it
#2. It would cost too much during a time when we're already overspending and bailing everyone out.
#3. The last poll I saw showed almost a dead heat with half Chicagoans wanting the games and half not wanting the games.

I would've loved to be a fly on the wall when they heard the news on the flight home. They went there thinking they had it in the bag, and came away empty.

I'm glad Chicago didn't get the bid on the Olympics!!! Chicago doesn't deserve it for all their thuggery!! I hope they learned a lesson, but I doubt it.

My husband said he read an article today that talked about how Michelle turned people off with her loud clothing when everyone was dressed in dark colors. I asked him to find the article, but he couldn't remember where he viewed it. I thought that was interesting, but I'd have to see the source.

He also said Rio De Janeiro was the chosen spot because the have more hookers. I'm pretty sure that came from Jim Rome, but I can't verify that. LOL!
