Is it only the debate area where people go when they wish to interact with other adults in a mature, respectful, non-taunting area? I'm not about no smilies and laughing icons. I'm talking about how some treat the holy things so profanely, and approach topics held with high esteem by others with such inconsideration. Would you approach your Jewish brother the same? Laughing at his Yamaka? That's what my specific issue has been. Let's laugh. Joke with each other. Talk about your mother's favorite recipe right along with the doctrines of the godhead. If I had grown up in that I would.

Look, most of us on here have many years of UPC or other Oneness background. I was a third generation UPC, raised in it, went to CLC, etc. So I kinda feel like I am part of the group and have a right to criticize it. It is kinda like Bill Cosby jumping on the black community, he could say things most white folks couldn't. I would say things to my brother I would never say to a friend.

I wasn't sure if you were talking about his motorcycle (yamaha) or his hat (yarmulke)...

Word to the wise: You will persuade no one by belittling something they see as sacred. You can help them understand the subject better by showing graciousness and respect to their idea, while explaining why you think the idea to be false. Anything else produces pure polemics.
