Dear Precious Supporters:
Once again, we cannot thank you enough for your prayer support that makes the ministry here in Brazil possible. You are the channel God is using to further His work in this vast land.
We just arrived back in Brazil with much excitement, knowing we are fixing to have a regional convention in the city of Jales. A city almost in the state of Mato Grosso so Michelle is unpacking bags to pack again. We were only gone for 3 weeks but so much accumulates in such a short time. We are so tired yet I look at my folks and they are traveling right now in the states trying to raise money to buy them a car. They have had so much bad luck up in the north. It is so dangerous where they live. Please pray for God to meet their need. I wish I could be in the states and drive for them but I am needed here also.
We just started another new church in the state of Bahia and from our Campinas church we are sending out another home missionary this time to the state of Parana. We now have two home missionaries working in that state. They are doing it because they have realized their responsibility to reach this world with the gospel.
We were able to help the pastor at Jales build on a little room to his church for our local preachers and missionaries that come through. We also were able to help supply more benches for our church in Novo Angelo.
Also the founder of our work in Bahia pastor Jose Ribeiro is traveling with his family to the convention in that state next week. They will meet up with a group my dad sent from their headquarters church also.
We just planted 200 grape vines on the campground land. We are trying to make it self supporting in time. We are also buying a milk cow for our people to have milk. We are trying to build a house for the family that is helping us. I am praying that the Lord will speak to someone to help us help them. They are planting and working so that in the future they can become self supporting. At this stage we still need your help. I think we can do this for around 2.500 dollars. This would lighten our load so much and help many people.
We are praying for God to help us buy a computer for our office. Our old one has done about all it will do. Please pray about this because we use our computer to send out many Bible studies all over brazil.
In our first service that we got back God filled a soul with the Holy Ghost and several new ones came and asked to be baptized. Then last night 2 more received it and I baptized 3 more. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
While we were gone robbers broke down the gate of our home luckily they did little damage but we will have to buy a new gate and put bars on our windows. The devil sure doesn’t like us! However there is no love lost! We will continue to march into his domain rescuing souls and bringing them in to this marvelous light.
I have asked my folks to come spend a few months in our area to conduct a 3 month seminar. I would like to buy them a little refrigerator and stove for the little place I am preparing for them and a nice bed. They would not ask for a thing and gladly come over to my house or where ever and even sleep wherever but I wan t them to be comfortable. I think for around 1000 dollars I can do this and if you would like to help on this project please let me know and earmark your offering for my parents.
Right now they are doing deputation in the states. I wish I could be here and there at the same time to help them drive but I know the angel of the Lord is with them. If you would like for them to visit your church you may contact 337 2902658 and I am sure if they are in your area they would come by if possible. Mother is doing a ladies meeting in Arizona and one in Ohio also. I talked to them last night and almost everywhere they have been God is filling people with the Holy Ghost they seemed tired in body but very excited to see what God is doing.
My brother Arlei that has the jungle work is doing good and God is blessing in that so remote place. I think of the words of Paul when he said , “to the regions beyond…”
Also the dream village church is growing in the state of Ceara.
My brother Ednei the pastor of Maceio church said their services have been so awesome.
This month we have two conventions one in the far northeast of the state of Sao Paulo and one in the state of Bahia. We have people traveling both ways! Plus another group on their way to Paraguay! How marvelous is the work of God. It never ceases to amaze me what God is doing in this great land.
