Baby TStew

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who prayed for my baby and family. Things were tough for us when he was born prematurely at 2 pounds and 5 ounces.
This pic was already posted here at the time of his birth:

It is actually impossible to tell how small he is in that picture but he was less than 2 1/2 pounds

The situation was very concerning, but God is faithful. People were praying for us all over the world. From the beginning he has progressed better than expected and has passed many hurdles and is becoming a healthy, happy baby. He currently weighs 11+ pounds (and counting). His name is Adan Isaac Stewart

About to come home. Still less than 5 pounds...I had to get a pic of him in a regular infant seat. We had to buy something to brace him in

At home

Tstew,

He is a beautiful baby! I am so glad he is doing well. I can't imagine what a stress and strain this all must have been for you and your wife. Thank you for sharing these pics with us.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Baby TStew

Thanks everybody. God is good and I am very thankful for what he has done for us in this situation. It was only a while afterwards that the doctors told us how precarious his situation really was. It was by the grace of God that had gone in for a routine ultrasound and they admitted her that day and worked on inducing labor. We found out later that even a week later would have likely been too late.

And yes, Cindy...he does have a few big Shepherds that one would have to contend with.

Re: Baby TStew

Bro. TStew, What a beautiful little boy and he looks like he is doing well. I believe I
mentioned back when your little boy was first born so prematurely. We had a little
granddaughter who was born prematurely at 29 wks and weighed 2 lbs, 3 oz. She was
in the NICU for two and a half months. Never had a setback and will turn 4 the 26th of
this month. She is strong and healthy, spoiled rotten of course. Her parents had two
sons, 12 and 15 when Lexie came along. They never dreamed they would have a little
girl and then it looked kinda hopeless at first. It was so scary and she was so tiny. But
day by day, God brought her through. Just as HE has and continues to bring your little
son through.

So happy your baby is doing well. May it continue, in Jesus Name!

Hugs for all three of you!
