Last week a 20 year old step-grandchild of one of our church members tried to commit suicide by a pill overdose. He was in a coma for eight hours. On the way to the hospital the Lord spoke to our pastor when he prayed for him to say, "In the name of Jesus Christ, Arise my son." When he arrived at the hospital they would not allow him to go back to see the man so he and family members went to the chapel and anointed a cloth and he said those words over it. The nurse took the cloth in and laid it next to his head. At the moment that it touched his pillow the boy came out of the coma and sat up. God is so good!!!!
Then last night the pastor received another phone call about a family member of another church saint. Evidently the man was about to lose his foot. They had him scheduled this morning for surgery to take the foot off. Well Saturday night they prayed and God moved in a mighty way in the hospital. This morning they took him to surgery. When he arrived in the room...the doctor looked at his foot and said, "I don't know what happened but we don't have to take the foot off, cancel the surgery."
Praise God He is still in the healing business!!!!

I'm always thrilled to hear reports like this! I have a man in our church who was clinically dead for about 15-20 minutes. Paramedics got his heart going and "bagged" him (artificial respiration) and he was put on a breathing machine at the hospital. The doctor (about 2 months ago) told us that he didn't "see any hope." He urged this man's wife to just let him go. He said he'd never breathe on his own, he'd never wake up, talk, eat, walk or do anything on his own. Today this father of seven children (the youngest is 7) is breathing, eating, talking, writings, praying, worshipping and otherwise defying all of the doctors' early predictions because we chose to believe in whom we have always trusted. Bro. James has a ways to go in recovery still, but now doctors are optomistic and feel that he has a chance at full recovery. His nurses have taken to calling him their "miracle guy."
He still confirms the Word with signs following!
