Politicians
Are there any Politicians the citizens can trust to do the right thing for our Country?
I have changed my mind and firmly believe it's time for terms limits for all Public offices and there staffs. I doubt our founding Fathers ever dreamed that it should be a career.
Can you vouch for a Politician that has true character and a heart for this Country d believes in and will uphold the Constitution of The United States?
Let see how short the list will be........

Re: Politicians
Probably a good way to do it is to allow a limit of one term.
Then after the one term the politician would be executed.

I voted for John McCain.
He may have me fooled but I think he does have some integrity.
He has some skeletons like the Keating thing and the lies and deception that go with an affair could certainly cause a loss of any credibility.

Re: Politicians
Any Politician having served for more than two terms is suspect.......

Former MD Gov. Ehrlich (R)
General Colin Powell (R)
I honestly can not think of a Democrat that would be on par with these two as far as credibility, honesty and trust.
I am trying hard....
no Democrat comes to mind, really.

The only one that I think MIGHT come close would be Ron Paul.
I agree with the term limit. No more than two, just like the office of President.
AND that they can NOT make any exceptions for themselves, that they have to live by the same laws they deem suitable for the rest of the country.

Esther- I agree that Congress should live with the same rules they make. However, I am against short term limits for them because it leaves the lobbyists in charge since they have the most experience. California and Michigan both have short term limits on their state legislatures. Need I say more?
