I have a 22" that is similar to this model in my bedroom. Mine is an earlier version, I think:

My wife and I like it very much. The sound isn't the best, but that might be because of small speakers, due to the size of the TV. I do not like that way the channels change. It is does not change instantly, there is a 1 or 2 second delay. Also, the menu options on mine do not have a background, they just pop up on the screen. It makes it difficult to see what you are selecting. Those are small things, really. It is a good TV, HD channels come in very well on it. We would consider getting another one when the need/desire arises.

On a side note, Plasma TV prices have come down quite a bit. I would say you could probably get a 37" for close to the same price as a 32" LCD. Manufacturer's have fixed the burn-in issue on them, and they have great color. The cheaper ones only go up to 720p, but there is not a whole lot that broadcasts over the air any higher, so it doesn't matter much.

We bought our 32 inch Vizio from SAMS club about 3-4 years ago and and it has worked perfect.

A few months ago I bought a 42" 1080p 120hz Vizio LCD for the Den. For the money they are a great value. The best pic in LCD's in my opinion are the Samsung 1080p.

For the size you are looking at 720p will be fine and Vizio in general is a great value for the money.
