I told my wife this morning, that if I was to really believe a women must have long, UNCUT hair, then after reading the "Holiness for Men" article, I really truly feel like I would have a new conviction to keep my head shaved, and wear a beard.
If I as a minister am going to hold a standard of long uncut hair for woman, based on my style of interpreting scripture, then how can I do anything less than preach a standard of shaved or shorn heads for men, and they wear a beard for separation of the sexes??
Seriously, how could you in good conscience, preach/teach any different??

You forgot wearing the robe while slowly walking around, chanting, and occasionally hitting your head with a board.

If they have long uncut hair, why do I need to be completely bald in order to have a separation of sexes....BTW it's not a separation but a distinction...that is IF the whole issue of hair is about a distinction of sexes...WHICH IT IS NOT. So your entire point is moot.

There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Well, I used to have a full beard, and my hair is departing on its' own......I MUST BE GOD-ORDAINED HOLY!
Logical...

Short of shaving, there is another consistent approach to the hair standard: women never cut their hair, and men cut their hair.
Since, as those who hold to the standard claim, a woman cutting her hair even once is a violation, then men cutting theirs once should be enough. Doesn't matter how often or how much. Even if it's just a half inch shorter, it's fine.

You know, it's really unfair. Eve ate one stupid piece of fruit, and women have been punished ever since! They have all the standards! They have all the icky hormonal, cramps, childbirth junk. Not to mention how they are clearly inferior to men and always need to be controlled and bossed around! God must like Men better!
(Good think I don't believe that or I would be really depressed!!)

You think you've got it bad? Us men, why, we gotta .... um,.... we have to uh .... well ... oh, I got it: We have to work really hard to think of ways we're worse off than women!
