Sis. Alvear's grandaughter is a Holiness preacher
Sis. Alvear's grandaughter(which I ordained about 3 years ago  ) was at AMC and she was pulling up folk's sleeves to see if they wore a watch and telling them it was a bracelet and Jesus did not like it. It was so cute.

Cute? I think not. Hypercrititcal judgementalism. Why do we have to be so judgemental.
We impart this to our young, and think it's cute, that they judge someone a Christian or not, by the length of a sleeve or the lack of a wedding ring. Or whether your watch as a leather or metal band.

Like I said, more backbone than most some preachers I know. She at least is being trained to discern right and wrong, especially when in an enviroment of ministry. Even if a joke, her parents should be applauded for teaching right.

Well, I'll have to say that I agree with her, partially. A watch is nothing but a bracelet. So if you think it's wrong to wear jewelry, you shouldn't wear one.  You buy them in the jewelry department.
I just don't happen to think it's wrong to wear jewelry.
