National Day of Prayer

Is this a big deal or not?

Some object to this White House's take on National Day of Prayer
By Manya A. Brachear
Chicago Tribune

CHICAGO -- After a standing invitation to the White House during the Bush administration, evangelical Christian organizers of National Day of Prayer activities have not been invited to attend White House ceremonies on Thursday.

In fact, it’s unclear whether there will be ceremonies in the White House at all.

Not surprising. He the so called Christian can't afford to offend his gay supporters.

Sad really, but hopefully God will hear our prayers today and turn him and our leaders back to morality.

I agree 100% with that. But it is the leaders that are making laws for us to follow.

I need to go get ready for national day of prayer at the city hall here today.

But it's the people who are electing the leaders... And reelecting them. The leaders are going to do what the majority of the people want, if they value their office.

I agree with what you are saying on this as well. We ALL need to turn back to God.
