Hi Mary, I am more in central Missouri. When you say Mid East, are you talking about Just outside St Louis?

Around Hawk Point... The nearest larger town is Warrenton. If you know of a good church in the Columbia/Mexico area that might be good too. I lived in MO as a little girl and still have some friends around that general area. None as far east as St. Louis, though. Thanks for any info.

Re: church in Missouri

There is an Apostolic church in Warrenton, though I don't know if they are conservative - if that is what you are looking for.

Bro Baitinger pastors the UPC church in Mexico - I have heard good things about them.

Re: church in Missouri

There are apparently a couple of churches in Warrenton, but for the record the one I attended is not conservative, no. I haven't been to them all.

I can look up the UPC churches on the UPCI website or in the directory, but I was hoping to find one that someone knows is prayed up, on fire for evangelism, with some activities outside of church (more a church family than just getting together a couple times a week for services), strong on Apostolic doctrine, comes early before church for prayer, and is friendly but not pushy toward visitors.

Thanks all.

I personally know of a family who just started services in Lebanon, Missouri. Don't know if that's close to you or not. Conservative. Good people and the church is off to a good start.

Re: church in Missouri

Cuba and Lebanon are both a long way from the areas mentioned by Mary.

Re: church in Missouri

Brother Dewayne Presson pastors the UPC church in Warrenton. I would say he is moderate or conservative. He is a wonderful person. I would recommend you visit there.
